I am pleasantly surprise with the outcome of this shoot.
Not only was this shoot a fun one, but if you’re trying to direct models with
no experiences other than their own ‘selfie(s)’ on Instagram, and a photographer
who does not know how to direct his models (if you know me, you know that I can’t
direct properly…still working on that, though!), a
what-the-freak-is-going-on-here can instantly happen. However, that what-the-freak-is-going-on-here
could either make your photography experience a miserable one or like this
shoot, a fun one. All I wanted from this shoot is to gain experience with my
new camera (since I am fairly new at it), and of course, added pictures on my
portfolio. That’s it!
I asked
my church friends after Sunday’s service if they wanted a new profile picture,
and to my surprise (not really, I already knew that they will oblige since they’re
camera addicts based on their Instagram accounts), they are both interested. We
used the barn located across our
church as background. I have used that before for Jomel’s shoot (previously
posted on this blog) so I kind of have an idea on how to work with the warehouse
as my background. Overall, this shoot
was a fun one and hoping to get more experiences before I actually charge
people for their photographs….kidding, not really!haha
Anyway, leave a comment,
like, subscribe, or whatever you want to do just so I have an idea that you’ve
seen my photographs. Again, I am a hobbyist trying a be a ‘real’ photographer
so constructive criticisms are always welcome!
Thanks and have a wonderful day,
Angelo F.
