Joshua and Krista

A couple of days ago, I finally received my replacement. My camera, which I still haven't thought of its name, arrived late in the afternoon. It was a great feeling knowing that after two years, I can finally shoot again. I really can't describe how I felt when it finally arrived, but it was the same feeling that I felt when I first had my Nikon D80. Basta, may kakaiba syang feeling na hindi ko malaman kung ano.

The following day, I went out with my friends and asked them if they can pose for me since I need some practice with my new camera. They agreed but I need to go with them first because they had prior appointments. The plan was Angela (picture below wearing checkered) and myself will accompany Camile (picture below wearing Black) while she takes her final exam. After that, we will eat breakfast at Jollibee, then head out to a nearby park to take some pictures. Done deal. However, after we ate at Jollibee, we went to a nearby cafe and stayed there for a while until we decided to go home. So, the plan of 'practicing' did not materialize. Once we arrived at Angela's home, my friends tired from being out all day, I thought I wouldn't be able to practice. So I was like, 'Okay, there's always next time.'  So I sat on the couch and took out my camera to play with it since I have nothing else to do; then I saw these kids approaching me and looking like they really want to know what I have in my hand. To cut the story short, they became my models. Shooting kids is probably one of the hardest shoots I've had since I can't control their actions, but I am glad it turned out really well (at least in my own assessment). And as far as my new camera is concerned, I love everything about it. I still need to practice before taking clients, though.

P.S. What do you guys think about these pictures?
